Anyone interested is invited to join a 30-minute webinar on Thursday or Friday for a demonstration of some of the Office 365 services that are less well known to small businesses. I want to encourage my clients to take the time to attend!
To register for the webinar, just click on one of these links:
You’re probably familiar with Office 365 hosted Exchange mailboxes, the mail service that has been adopted by businesses of all sizes, all over the world. The webinar will give you a chance to see Sharepoint and Lync, which are maturing into products that might have something to offer very small businesses.
– A full implementation of Sharepoint continues to be a big project but a business of any size can begin using Skydrive Pro for employees to store business files online and access them from multiple devices.
– Lync is an instant messenger and communications program like Skype, with the advantage of being completely integrated with Outlook. Microsoft is adding features at a rapid pace and larger businesses are beginning to implement Lync widely, making it more likely that you’ll be able to connect with other Lync users. It is particularly interesting for any business with multiple locations or employees in the field.
The webinar will also touch on Office 365 subscriptions to Microsoft Office, the preferred way for small businesses to obtain licenses for the new version of Office and begin to use Office Web Apps.
I’ll be available any time to answer questions about your subscriptions and how these services might work for you. By all means, watch the demo! You might hear about something that could become an important business tool. And you’ll have a chance to meet Justin Bowers and Tim Tetrick from Microsoft, who are very nice people.
Enjoy the demo!
