My flapping retina has been stitched into place and I’m comfortably sitting with my head facing down in a chair that looks like it would also be useful for shoulder massages or bizarre bondage experiments.
“Comfortably” might be an overstatement.
I’m back at work, more or less. I’ll be sitting upright at my desk answering calls and mucking around with your computers for a few hours each day. (Doctor’s orders: head down or on its right side 16-18 hours/day.) I won’t be driving for another couple of weeks, and full recovery is still 4-5 weeks away, so don’t plan any reckless technology experiments for a while longer.
Thanks for all the kind wishes! I’m well on the way to complete recovery.
Bruce,
I’m not a customer, but I do enjoy reading your blog. It’s nice to see someone approach technology with common sense. Anyway, as someone who is recovering from back surgeries, I just wanted to wish you the best. Recovering from surgery – any kind of surgery – is never fun. Take care of yourself, and I’ll keep you in my prayers.
Fred
Thanks so much! And good luck with your own recovery!
